Andrei Castravet becomes a U.S. citizen after years of immigration struggles
Andrei Castravet announced in July 2024 that he had officially become a U.S. citizen, posting a video with his immigration lawyer to mark the milestone. Andrei had faced deportation threats in the past. He voted in the 2024 presidential election as a new citizen. His father-in-law Chuck Potthast later passed away in November 2025.
